Take your Mahj game into the water 💦

Join us for Mahj & Mingle: Float & Play—a one-of-a-kind American Mahjong experience where we’ll be playing on floating mats in the pool. This is a relaxed, social session designed for players who already know the basics and want to play, mingle, and try something totally new.

We’ve reserved a private pool setting—perfect for a fun, low-pressure, and slightly adventurous Mahj afternoon. The approximate location is Northeast Raleigh; location specifics will be shared a few days prior to the event.

• Floating Mahjong play (in the pool!)
• Guided & open play (no formal lesson)
• A fun, social, low-pressure atmosphere

💦 What’s included:

• Floating mats
• Water-safe tiles
• Waterproof NMJL card sleeve—Please bring your 2026 NMJL card!
• Game support as needed

👉 Important: This is not a beginner lesson. Players should be comfortable with the basics of American Mahjong.

👙 WHAT TO BRING

• Swimsuit (you’ll be in the pool!)
• Towel
• 2026 NMJL Card (we have waterproof sleeves for you to use!)
• Water-friendly bag for personal items
• Optional: cover-up, flip flops, drink/snacks
• NO GLASS containers
